What does the athletic communications staff face when a coaching change occurs?
• dealing with new coach expectations
• coach/SID relationship-building
• tips on dealing with the different coaching transitions (coach retirement or resignation; coach firing; coach retirement where the former coach is still around the program; first-time head coaches; new coaches with head coaching experience and their expectations; new coaches with no head coaching experience; a coach who joins your program from a bigger university/college who is accustomed to a different environment and resources)
• how to best help your new coach(es) understand your athletic/campus/media culture
