Division I CoSIDA Members: Enter the 2011 Capital One All-America Mascot Challenge

The Capital One Mascot Challenge is a Division I-based competition pits the best football mascots against each other for an online contest that runs throughout the college football season. All Division I FBS and FCS schools, with a costumed mascot, are eligible.

The team consists of 16 mascots. In order for a mascot to make it onto the team the school must first nominate their mascot and then be selected. The deadline for nominations is May 2nd.

Nomination kits have been sent, and time is running out to nominate your mascot for the 2011 Capital One All-America Mascot Challenge. All Division I FBS and FCS programs are eligible.

The deadline for nominations is quickly approaching on May 2nd, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to promote your school.

Capital One is more committed than ever to student athletes as an Official Corporate Champion of the NCAA® as well as the new title sponsor of the Capital One Academic All-America® Team as selected by CoSIDA.

The 16 mascots selected to be on the Capital One All-America team each receive a $5,000 scholarship donation and the overall winner of the online contest receives a total of $20,000 for their Mascot program. The Capital One Mascot Challenge recognizes the true unsung heroes of college football. Please note that neither your school nor your mascot will endorse any Capital One products or services. This competition is all about honoring your mascot.
