If you do not have your user name and profile, click the link next to "Forget your login information?" and your user information will be sent to the e-mail address that appears in the CoSIDA directory.

When finished with the nomination form, hit "submit" and the system will e-mail a receipt for the nomination. Make sure to save this confirmation e-mail, as it contains a unique ID number which will assist in troubleshooting if necessary.

If you have more than one nominee, repeat these steps as necessary.

SPORTS INCLUDED IN THE AT-LARGE CATEGORY & NOMINATION NUMBERS PER SCHOOL

In the at-large program, men's nominations and women's nominations are limited to three per school per gender. Thus, each institution may nominate a total of three men’s at-large candidates and three women’s at-large candidates.

If an institution participates in both the college and the university divisions, it may nominate a total of three men and three women between the two divisions. There is no limit to the number of candidates that may be nominated in a particular sport - again, up to the maximum of three females overall and three males overall. (For instance: you can nominate three women's swimmers for your At-Large maximum of three, or you could nominate one female from lacrosse and two from tennis. The final number cannot exceed three.)

The at-large program sports are: women’s bowling, women’s crew, men’s and women’s fencing, women’s field hockey, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s rifle, men’s and women’s skiing, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s volleyball, men’s and women’s water polo, and men’s wrestling.

REMINDERS

• The nominee must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials.

• Nominees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) in BOTH undergrad and graduate work. This MAY NOT be rounded up to 3.30 — thus, a student-athlete with a 3.299 GPA is not eligible. Nominees in graduate school must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or better both as an undergrad AND in graduate school. For example, a student-athlete with GPAs of 3.0 in undergraduate work and 3.9 in graduate school would not be eligible, even if the average of the two combined was above 3.30.

• Nominees must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at your institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one academic year at your institution.

• Nominees must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games (in the position listed on the nomination form). In baseball and softball, pitchers had to have at least 10.0 innings pitched to be nominated. Athletes who have not participated in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests are not eligible.

Please proof your nomination(s) carefully. Once you hit the "Submit" button, you CANNOT go back and edit a nomination. If it is necessary to make a change to a submitted nomination, contact your district coordinator.

On the nomination form: Do NOT enter a PO Box as a university address. The CoSIDA awards system cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Thank you for your participation in the Capital One Academic All-America® programs!
