Submit your photographs for NCAA Champion magazine "1,000 words" two-page photo spread

Do you have a special athletics photograph worthy of a two-page spread in an upcoming NCAA Champion magazine issue? If so, please read the following inquiry from Gary Brown, a member of the NCAA Public Relations/Communications staff.

Deadline for submitting these photos to Brown is September 12.

To: CoSIDA Members:

The NCAA is interested in obtaining compelling and interesting photographs for the upcoming October issue of the award-winning NCAA Champion magazine. Specifically, we are looking for a special photograph to be showcased in our Champion magazine's "1,000 words" two-page photo spread which graces the front of each of our issues.
The NCAA is not looking to purchase photographs for this issue and will of course give public credit to the photographer in our national magazine.

Obviously, the photo must be compelling enough to tell a story without much of a cutline. The best are those that portray raw emotion or show a side of the student-athlete that doesn’t always emerge in competition.

The shot can be from a game/competition, practice or campus activity, whatever, as long as it portrays a powerful and positive image.

If you have a photograph or photographs that you wish to submit, please email the high-res images to gbrown@ncaa.org. Submission deadline is WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Gary Brown
