Fall continuing education video series: Social Media 2.0 - How social media can help you in a crisis

Below is seventh video of the Fall 2012 CoSIDA on-demand continuing education series entitled "Social Media 2.0: How social media can help you in a crisis."

Each session was video-taped at the 2012 CoSIDA St. Louis Convention and the series is a prominent piece of our fall continuing ed initiatives. Following their launch date, each video is housed on CoSIDA's YouTube video channel for on-demand viewing.

Via case studies and research, the discussion revolved around reputation management and how to develop an effective crisis communications plan that builds a strong base of advocates on your social media channels. The discussion covers the 2012 CoSIDA social media survey; monitoring and engagement strategies; messaging do's and don'ts; and a discussion on how to best handle negative posters.
