live stream of the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America® Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on

Wednesday night, June 12 from the Orlando World Center Marriott - site of the 2013 CoSIDA Convention. The Capital One All-America Hall of Fame event takes place at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern). The CoSIDA Convention is taking place in conjunction with NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week at the Orlando Marriott resort.

h year that Capital One, title sponsor of the CoSIDA Academic All-America program, has held an induction ceremony for a distinguished Academic All-America Hall of Fame class. The induction was open to all CoSIDA and NACDA Convention attendees.
This year’s 2013 inductees into the Capital One Academic All-America® Hall of Fame, as selected by CoSIDA, include:
the late Arizona State University standout linebacker Pat Tillman (awarded posthumously) who later starred for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals before serving his country in the military;
University of Florida and Olympic gymnast Elfi Schlegel; Pepperdine University and Olympic men’s water polo standout Dr. Terry Schroeder; Lycoming College football star and current United States Circuit Court Judge Thomas Vanaskie; and
United States Coast Guard Academy gridiron great and NASA astronaut Commander Bruce Melnick.

Mike Krzyzewski received the Dick Enberg Award for his
commitment to student-athletes, the Capital One Academic All-America® ideals and for promoting the values of education and academics. Mark Fleming of Moravian College is the recipient of the Lester Jordan Award for outstanding contributions to the Capital One Academic All-America® program.
Serving as Capital One Hall of Fame Gala master of ceremonies was ESPN broadcaster
Rece Davis who serves as primary studio host for ESPN and ESPN2’s coverage of college football and college basketball. He will be joined onstage by special guest and Hall of Fame broadcaster
Dick Enberg who will present his Dick Enberg Award.


The Capital One live stream event was produced by a team of digital production student staffers and faculty members from
Full Sail University. Located in Winter Park, Fla., Full Sail offers a unique and innovative cirriculum in film, design, video

The five new inductees join a select group of 122 members of the Capital One Academic All-America® Hall of Fame, which was created in 1988.
This marks the third year that Capital One is the title sponsor of both the Academic All-America® program and the Academic All-America® Hall of Fame.
