Note to CoSIDA members with FIRST TEAM Academic All-District selections: All Academic All-District FIRST TEAM members now advance to the national Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes on the Academic All-District second team (if applicable) do not advance to the national ballot but are provided this release as a further opportunity for recognition.

The nominating sports information directors of First Team members will be notified via email and have until 12 noon (Eastern) on Monday, Feb. 9 to update their student-athlete(s) bios online for inclusion on the national Academic All-America® ballot. To update your nominations, log in to: http://forms.cosida.com/aa/login.aspx with your CoSIDA user name and password.

Once you have logged in, if you have a first-team all-district selection in the current program, there will be an option to "Update Statistics for a District Winner."  Click on that and you can access the statistics and data fields (the 500-character limit still applies, though). We cannot extend the Feb. 9th 12 noon (Eastern) deadline, as the voting period for the national ballot begins on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Please check to make sure that your student-athlete's name, major(s) and hometown are listed correctly.  If incorrect information is not corrected prior to the national team announcement, your institution will be responsible for the cost of reproducing a corrected award.

There are four districts in the College Division District contests for all sports.

The 2015 Capital One Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA’s Academic All-America teams programs since 2011.

First-team Academic All-District® football honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. This is the fourth year of the expanded Academic All-America® program as CoSIDA moved from recognizing a University Division (Division I) and a College Division (all non-Division I) and has doubled the number of scholar-athletes honored. The expanded teams include NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III participants, while the College Division Academic All-America ® Team combines NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.

The Capital One Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2014-15 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams program.
