Message from CoSIDA President Eric McDowell of Union College (N.Y.)

CoSIDA Colleagues!

WOW, IT'S MAY....THINK CONVENTION!

What a quick academic year, wasn't in? It's already May. Our CoSIDA Convention is just weeks away. Are you still considering attending? Not sure yet?

Maybe I can convince you....or shall we say, maybe some others can as well.

We are looking forward to returning to Orlando for the 2015 CoSIDA Convention, June 14-17, joining our colleagues and other athletics administrators and professionals at the NACDA Convention. Here's what you can look forward to, once you sign up after you read this!

• Tremendous and valuable panels, speakers and topics throughout the week
• The ever popular Divisional Day, with specific programming geared for you and your affiliation
• FULL access to all NACDA panels and sessions (except for private meetings and events for specific organizations)
• Networking...networking....networking
• The Capital One Academic All-America® Hall of Fame Gala, with special guest Dick Enberg, emcee Rece Davis, Andre Agassi (Enberg Award winner) and our 2015 HOF class
• A night out at Universal CityWalk
• Much, much more

Here's what a few others have to say, including members of the NAIA and NCAA Div. I:

"Attending the CoSIDA Convention is invaluable for both veterans and young people because of both the valuable information you'll gain in that week, as well as the personal relationships you'll form that will serve you throughout your career. The CoSIDA Convention has given me a full address book of people that serve as my bouncing board when it comes to information and ideas. Without attending the CoSIDA Convention, my creative bank would be quite small, and I wouldn't be as well-prepared to serve our student-athletes."
Steve Wilson - Assistant AD for Sports Communications - Park University (Mo.)

"I'm relatively new to attending the convention, but I can't express how much I have learned over the last few years.  Every June I look forward to the recharge that comes from being surrounded by and getting to reconnect with my peers.  The opportunity to learn new techniques and technology from each other is invaluable.  I bring something back from the convention to my organization every year."
– Jennifer Jones, Director of Communications, Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC)

So, now, please take a moment to register for our CoSIDA Convention. You can do so securely and conveniently online HERE.

Thank you for your service to the student-athletes and media, and I look forward to seeing you in Orlando in just a few weeks.

Sincerely,

-Eric
