AUSTIN, TEXAS – Senior swimmer Anastasia Bogdanovski of Johns Hopkins University and junior swimmer Andrew Wilson of Emory University headline the 2015 Capital One Academic All-America® Division III At-Large Teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A public health major with a 3.70 grade-point average from Fanwood, New Jersey, Bogdanovski repeated as the Women’s At-Large Academic All-America® of the Year, earning her second straight first-team recognition. The Capital One Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2014-15 Division III Academic All-America® teams program.

The at-large program for the Capital One Academic All-America® program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.

A 23-time All-American and 10-time NCAA Division III national champion, Bogdanovski won the 50-yard, 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle events at the national championships, the first Division III women’s swimmer to sweep the three freestyle events since 2006. She was part of a Johns Hopkins squad that finished fifth at the NCAA Championships, its third straight top-five national finish. Bogdanovski holds three school records in individual events and is a part of four school records in relays. She is planning to train for the 2016 Olympics, competing for her native Macedonia.

Outside of the pool, Bogdanovski recently was named an NCAA Postgraduate Scholar. She has conducted clinical work and research at universities and medical schools in Macedonia, and has completed clinical practicums with three different doctors in New Jersey and Maryland.

Wilson was named NCAA Division III Men’s Swimmer of the Year in 2015, winning three national titles, each in a Division III record time -- the 100-yard breaststroke (51.72 seconds), 200-yard breaststroke (1:52.97) and 200-yard individual medley (1:46.23). He was also a part of two national runner-up relays (200-yard and 400-yard medleys), each setting a new school record.
