As in the past few years, the NAIA-SIDA Board of Directors will present a monthly series of continuing education calls for the 2015-16 academic year.
The NAIA-SIDA Board of Directors have organized its annual "Continuing Education Webinar Series" with insightful and hands-on training programming for fellow SID's.
These sessions are free and all members of CoSIDA are invited to attend, regardless of divisional status.
The programming begins on Tuesday, Aug. 25 with
Dakstats Update with Sam Martens, Technical Product Manager for Sports/Data Interfaces and Michele Michele Smith, Technical Support of Daktronics.

The first NAIA-SIDA Continuing Education Webinar, featured Martens and Smith of Daktronics discussing new upgrades to Dakstats this year, how Dakstats may be a bit different with the new rule changes to NAIA Women's Basketball, as the game will now be played with four quarters instead of two halves. They answered questions about Live Stats and new ways to utilize live stats via social media.

On the second NAIA-SIDA continuing ed call, our stellar NAIA National SID Office staff will discuss the year ahead in sports information and pass along any reminders needed to the membership; also will discuss Dakstats partnership, Stretch Internet Partnership, how to get involved in NAIA National Championships and the CoSIDA Academic All-America® program. It will also be a great way to introduce their new intern staff to the membership and let the membership know which National Office SID works with each particular sport.
