Promote Your Football Student-Athletes In The NFF's "Football Matters" Series

Dear CoSIDA Member/Sports Information Director,

Have you ever felt like you had a great football story, but you did not have the time or bandwidth to get it written? Or have you
felt like a football story you had written could use an additional push to get the attention tthat it deserves?

Great news! The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame has a team of freelance writers who are capturing the best football stories from across the nation and all divisions of play for its new digital platform FootballMatters.org.

Launched just a few months ago, the initiative aims to become the home for all the stories that highlight the good in the game and the lifelong benefits to those who play it.

The platform has received lots of positive feedback, and it has quickly garnered more than 3 million visitors and an equal amount of traction on Twitter and Facebook. Please check out the "About" section (http://footballmatters.org/about-us) of the site, which outlines the types of stories currently being featured; these include stories on football moms, role models, leaders beyond the field and the impact of football in the community .

If you have a story idea, please email news@footballfoundation.com. In your pitch, please include the essentials of who, what, where, why and when as well as all the names and the contact information the reporter will need to write the story. We know how hard it is to get traction, and we'll do our absolute best to cover the stories that you submit.

We hope that you will take advantage of this new opportunity, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Steve Hatchell
