• Heisler spoke on seeing our jobs transition from traditional media relations to one where there is a heavy emphasis on more self-produced content, particularly as it pertains to web and social media communications. He discussed how that has presented additional needs for resources, and how he's gone about making a case to address those needs.
• Ledyard discussed the importance of having detailed analytics to accompany your budget proposals and your "asks" for additional resources; he also covered the corporate sponsorship model he developed at ETBU to supplement his budget funding.
• Fein focused on creative problem-solving when it comes to budget issues and how he and his staff go about finding ways to help themselves during the budget process with aligning goals and objectives.
