The 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
All First Team Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballots.
The Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2015-16 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams program.
The Academic All-America teams will be selected by vote of the Academic All-Americat® committee and CoSIDA Board of Directors and will be announced November 17 (College Division), November 18 (Division 3), November 21 (Division 2) and November 22 (Division 1).
UPDATE BIOS OF FIRST TEAM HONOREES: All CoSIDA members with FIRST TEAM honorees are asked to update student-athlete bios/statistics/honors by Monday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. Eastern so that the Academic All-America®
ballot will be accurate. You will receive an email with the link to update. If you have a First Team honoree, you can go to http://forms.cosida.com/aa/login.aspx and log in with your CoSIDA passwords. There will be an option to "Update Statistics for a District Winner."
The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. This is the fifth year of the expanded Academic All-America® program as CoSIDA moved from recognizing a University Division (Division I) and a College Division (all non-Division I) and has doubled the number of scholar-athletes honored. The expanded teams include NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III participants, while the College Division Academic All-America® Team combines NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.
