CoSIDA will collaborate with
Everything is on the Record partners Brian Berger, (founder/CEO of the Sports PR Summit) and Ric Bucher (longtime journalist with Bleacher Report and ESPN), in hosting a new two-day educational workshop – the CoSIDA Communications Forum - in Portland, OR. this summer that will focus on communication trends and solutions in the profession.
The event will be staged at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers MLS soccer team, Tuesday-Wednesday, Aug. 2-3 and
features a variety of nationally-recognized speakers and presentations on crisis communications, strategic communications and working with the media.
Additional information regarding the event and hotel availability and registration will be made available as plans are finalized. Registration will open soon and CoSIDA members will be notified by text message, email and via social media.
“We’ve wanted to bring a strong educational event to the western corridor of the country and are very excited to partner with Brian Berger and Ric Bucher, who have a successful background in producing the Sports PR Summit,” said CoSIDA President Judy Willson.
“Our goal is to collaborate with Brian and Ric in identifying meaningful topics of interest with some of the leading professionals in the communications industry for an event that will be of interest to not only our members in the west, but throughout the country.”
