CINCINNATI, Ohio -- CBS StatCrew has embarked on an aggressive plan to completely overhaul its suite of in-game scoring products. Last fall, the company conducted a thorough technical audit of its Next Gen software, examining all aspects of the products and development process. As a result of that audit, the decision was made in January to move forward with a new developer and begin work immediately on the third edition of StatCrew Software.
Development of the new product suite is progressing well, with the first sport -- basketball -- slated to be released in early September.
Subsequent sports are scheduled to be released over the course of the next 12-18 months.
The new products will include a robust feature set, including:
• New design and simplified user experience
• Time-saving schedule and roster maintenance features
• Familiar keystroke functionality, while introducing touch capabilities
• Centralized dashboard to enable users to manage data, generate reports and score games from interface
• Improved data validation and synchronization, removing the need to manage data both on the cloud and locally
• NCAA compatibility to include auto-upload functionality, designed to eventually feature a full synchronization of rosters, schedules and stats
• Advanced reporting tool, enabling users to create and customize reports

Make plans now to join us at the 2016 CoSIDA Convention in Dallas (June 12-15), during which time we’ll present a demo of the new StatCrew products and be able to answer questions about the upcoming release.
