CoSIDA is presenting an encore of the 201t Academic All-America® Hall of Fame Induction ceremony which took place on Monday, June 13 from the Hilton Anatole in Orlando - site of the 2016 #CoSIDA16 convention which ran June 12-15. The Hall of Fame ceremony is now on-demand at

The induction ceremony, in its seventh year and open for no charge to CoSIDA and NACDA and Affiliates Convention Week attendees, was another standing-room only crowd on June 13.
Purdue University football star and 2009 Super Bowl MVP-winning quarterback for the New Orleans Saints Drew Brees joined former Notre Dame baseball star, noted surgeon and international humanitarian Dr. Angelo Capozzi, TCU men’s basketball standout and former Harvard Business School professor Dr. James I. Cash, Jr., Iowa State men’s basketball standout, coach and now NBA head coach Fred Hoiberg, and former University of Connecticut national player of the year, current college coach and Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer Jennifer Rizzotti as this year's 2016 inductees into the Academic All-America® Hall of Fame, as selected by CoSIDA.

Additionally, noted NFL Hall of Famer Roger Staubach received the Dick Enberg Award, given annually to a
person whose actions and commitment have furthered the meaning and reach of the Academic All-America® Teams program and/or the student-athlete while promoting the values of education and academics. The award was created in part to recognize Dick Enberg's passion and support of the Academic All-America® program, and more importantly, his dedication to education for more than four decades.
