2017 CoSIDA Convention Attendance Grant Applications
Application period: Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 through Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 (Midnight Eastern deadline).
CoSIDA is pleased to once again offer CoSIDA members twenty (20) grants to help defray the cost of attending the 2017 CoSIDA Convention at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Fla. Grant recipients receive complimentary convention registration and $800/person to go toward travel and hotel accommodations. The selected attendees will be awarded funds post-convention on a reimbursement basis.

Midnight (ET) on Feb. 10, 2017.

The Convention Attendance Grant Program selection committee will review the applications and choose the 2017 recipients in February and March.
Early bird registration for the 2017 convention is Feb. 8 - March 10. Advance registration is available March 11 - May 12.

Convention Grant Application Terms & Conditions
The program is open only to all
current 2016-17 CoSIDA members.
Each individual must provide two documents, (1) a letter of application stating why you want to attend the convention and how you intend to use what you learn in your professional career and on campus; (2) a supporting letter from a superior/supervisor that explains the need for the financial request.
The Convention Grant committee will not share the names of applicants.
Previous winners are not eligible to receive the grant; however, past applicants who have not received a grant are encouraged to re-apply.
Convention Grant History
In 2013-14, CoSIDA began this new program to provide financial assistance to members who wish to attend the annual convention, but who are limited to do so due to financial constraints. For the 2014 convention in Orlando, the CoSIDA Convention Attendance Grant Program awarded 10 individuals financial grants of $800 per member. The program was expanded to 20 grants for the 2015 convention at Marriott Orlando World Center.
