Current CoSIDA Members: Log In For Nominations/Voting

It’s time to fire up the computer and nominate for Academic All-America in 2017-18! This will be your first look at the new awards portal we’ve been talking about since June.
The way you nominated in the past will closely resemble the way you nominate now.
• You must be a current dues-paying member.
• Your school affiliation will determine the district in which your nominations are placed.
• Some information will auto-fill and some you will be asked to select or supply from various drop-down menus and text boxes.
• You’ll continue to input statistics and honors to support your nominations.
• None of the criteria has changed.
It will just look different.
Here are a couple of handy things to know as you begin the process.
1. Username and Passwords
Your log-in for the awards portal is the exact same as the member portal (username – email address; password – Password1 for those logging in for the first time or your designated password for those who have already visited the portal.) CoSIDA staff no longer has access to your password. If you’ve forgotten it, you’ll need to click on the re-set link on the log-in page. A link will be sent to your email address.
2. The Look and Feel
Once you are logged in, if this is what you see, you’re in the right place:
You’ll be able to save nominations and return to edit them (during the nomination timeframe). When it’s time to vote, you’ll see your options in the handy dashboard to the left of the portal. When the other CoSIDA awards, grants and scholarship applications are open, you’ll see those in your dashboard as well. It will be your one-stop shop for nominations, applications and voting!
If you log in and see the below screen, you’re in the wrong place. That’s the old portal and you will not be able to complete a nomination in this system.
3. Trust the Process
Yeah, it’s a new system. Yes, it looks different. It’s still intuitive. It still captures the information needed for members to vote at the all-district and All-America levels. CoSIDA staff and the Academic All-America Core Committee are still here to help you navigate the system, problem solve and troubleshoot. Any issues should be directed to Laurie Bollig at

NEW THIS YEAR!!
Beginning this year, every current dues-paying member of CoSIDA will be able to vote on the All-America teams in your division – not just the all-district teams as in past years.
CoSIDA’s Board of Directors and Academic All-America advisory committee determined that membership – in addition to the Academic All-America Core Committee, Board and staff – should have a say in your All-America teams. So, sharpen those pencils (well, not really). Online voting for men’s and women’s soccer All-America teams begins November 14.
