THROUGH WEDNESDAY, MAY 17th for several key CoSIDA Board of Directors leadership positions. These terms will begin in June.
Your opportunity to serve on the CoSIDA Board awaits. We are looking for members who are interested in the opportunity to provide thoughts, input, expertise and initiatives, and serve as a voice for your colleagues. The CoSIDA Board is a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
We hope you consider this opportunity, or suggest/nominate a colleague whom you know would be a great fit for our board and our membership.
Nominations are open for three positions for the 2017-18 CoSIDA Board, which will convene for the first time on June 14 at the final day of the 2017 CoSIDA Convention:
3rd Vice President - (no geographic designation)
Serves a five-year term on the board (years of being 3rd VP, 2nd VP, 1st VP, President, then Past President) with specific assignments each year. Your commitment includes two conference calls per month, two additional days of meetings at the CoSIDA Convention, a summer meeting at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, a mid-year meeting at the NCAA Convention, and involvement as committee liaison as well as projects and special duties to be determined.
College Division Representative - two positions open: one from the Northeast Region and one from the Central Region
Serves a three-year term on the board. Members eligible are from a campus or conference office from CIS, NAIA, NJCAA, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division III. Your commitment includes one conference call per month, two additional days of meetings at the CoSIDA Convention, and involvement as committee liaison as well as projects and special duties to be determined at that time
The Northeast Region respresentative must be based in one of these states or Canadian provinces: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia.
The Central Region representatve must be based in one of these states or Canadian provinces: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Manitoba, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Ontario, Wisconsin.

Selections are made during the CoSIDA Orlando convention on Saturday, June 10 and the new board is scheduled to be announced and approved at the Business Meeting during the CoSIDA Convention.
