ORLANDO – Tuesday at #CoSIDA17 was dedicated to health, fitness, community service and social media-focused panels and breakout sessions.
The day was jump-started by the annual CoSIDA/NACDA 5k fun run/walk at 6:30 am, followed by standing-room only sessions focusing on social and digital media. Attendees heard from the likes of David Herman, Twitter Director of Sports Partnerships; Alison Overholt, editor-in-chief of ESPN the Magazine and espnW; Matt Vinson, Daytona International Speedway Director of Digital Marketing; and Russell Houghtaling, Oregon State Associate AD of Ideation.
Dozens of key insights were shared every hour on social analytics, social media strategies, creating branding/style guides, podcasting and webstreaming.
The day’s focus gave CoSIDA attendees a chance to hear from outside influencers while getting fresh ideas on social media strategies, social postings, digital communications and more. A flood of insights were shared, participants were inspired to rethink how they see their brand and learned about new ways to promote and new tactics to manage their online communities.
