Update your CoSIDA profile
Those of you who attended the #CoSIDA17 Convention heard about the new membership portal and awards portal that CoSIDA will introduce later this summer/early fall. This will improve the processes for our members while also giving the association a more detailed look at who makes up our membership.
The data migration from our current SIDEARM system to our new portal will take place soon. To better help with this transition, please consider doing the following activities:
ACTION NEEDED BY JULY 16 (Pre-migration)
1.
Update your personal profile with addresses, emails and phone numbers.
Click HERE to update.
Note: If you need to update your school affiliation, email
lauriebollig@cosida.com ASAP.
2.
Custodians should
check your employee rosters now to make sure you have the proper employee roster before the data is migrated. That will help later when you go to register your group.
3. If your school has more than one employee/member, it is helpful that you
declare a custodian. That person will be able to update your organizational information. Make sure you have an account custodian selected or email
lauriebollig@cosida.com with that person's name for help with making that designation.
Some important information for immediate after migration:
• Membership pricing and options will remain the same for 2017-18 but how you renew a membership or add a member will look different.
• Organizational profiles set up in the new portal will have more information that needs to be completed by the custodian.
This information is critical to update/complete because it directly affects the Academic All-America® nominating and voting process.
• Individual profiles set up in the new portal include more demographic questions. Although such demographics are not required, the more you tell us about you, the better able we are to target messages and programming to you and the more comprehensive picture we have of CoSIDA's diverse membership.
Fill out your individual and organizational profiles with as much detail as possible.
When the new registration system is available, support will be available on CoSIDA Connect to help guide you in setting up your new individual and organizational profiles. Like any transition, there will be hiccups. Please reach out to
lauriebollig@cosida.com with questions as we learn the new system together.
