The 2017-18 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be announced in March.

This year, current dues-paying group and individual members of CoSIDA will have the opportunity to vote on the Academic All-America® teams within their division (NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, College Division). Members of the Academic All-America® Core Committee, the CoSIDA Board of Directors and CoSIDA staff members will continue to vote for teams in every division. Voting will open for Academic All-America® on Wednesday, Feb. 28 and will close on Tuesday, March 6 at 9 PM (ET).

The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed here for men's basketball and women's basketball, and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.

The Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2017-18 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams program.

UPDATE BIOS OF FIRST TEAM HONOREES: CoSIDA members with first-team All-District winners have the opportunity to update their student-athlete bios/statistics/honors. Go to CoSIDA.com/Awards to update your information. These updates will be due by Monday, Feb. 26 at 9 PM (ET).
