Thank you to everyone who celebrated the fourth CoSIDA Membership Recognition Week in 2019. Each year, we're excited to see more people and groups get involved in recognizing and supporting athletics communications professionals. While it's much more than a social media campaign — we hope that that athletic directors, commissioners, student-athletes, media, members of national associations and coaching associations will take the opportunity to show true appreciation on campus — we are sharing some of our favorite posts we saw during the week.
Remember to #ThankYourSID and support your SID year round.
In the true spirit of the week, many CoSIDA members chose to participate by taking time to honor their mentors, student workers, co-workers and friends.
The CoSIDA staff especially thanks the members of the committee that helped develop and implement everything that went into the week including Sam Atkinson (Gallaudet/CoSIDA First Vice President), Lindy Brown (Duke), Tommy Chasanoff (Cumberlands), Michael Damon (The Scorer’s Table), Chas Dorman (Penn), Jae Lynn Ellison (William Jewell), Kelli Elmore (KCAC), David Gibson (Indiana), Michael Hawkins (Francis Marion), Rob Knox (Towson/CoSIDA Past President), Sheila Morrigan (MIAA), Dan Ruede (New Haven), Steven Schauer (Concordia Wisconsin), Bill Smith (Liberty), Ricky Webster (NJCAA), Monyae Williamson (Western Illinois), Nathan Yacovissi (Dallas), and Amy Yakola (Atlantic Coast Conference).
