Dear CoSIDA Members –

This summer, the United States Olympic Committee Collegiate Advisory Council will be launching a non-commercial solidarity campaign with the collegiate community to spread awareness of the important ties between the collegiate and Olympic landscapes. If your school/conference has historically contributed to the development of a U.S./international Olympian, Paralympian or coach, or if you have a current national team coach/athlete on campus, we invite you to participate in the campaign. More details can be found in this document; please email OlympiansMadeHere@usoc.org to indicate your interest in participating.

DATA REQUEST
As part of this campaign, the USOC is collaborating with the NCAA and CoSIDA to confirm Olympic/Paralympic ties to each campus. Please submit your list of athletes and coaches HERE. This data will be cross-referenced against the USOC’s historic data to aggregate a master database, which will be accessible to schools and conferences as part of the campaign digital toolkit. We understand this will take some time to unpack, and would appreciate if participants could complete this link by Thursday, April 4. Please note conferences may already have this data and it may be beneficial to collaborate with them on this project.

CAMPAIGN ACTIVATION WEBINAR
Last, the USOC will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, April 9, at 3pm CT. This will be an introductory webinar to overview the campaign and registration process; more information will be distributed closer to the date.

Thanks, and please reach out with any questions.
