Why Join CoSIDA?
CoSIDA members – and those wanting to sign up to be a member for the first time – are now able to purchase 2019-20 memberships through CoSIDA.com.
Members are strongly encouraged to pay dues online through the portal because memberships are immediately active; however, there is an option to be billed later.
- NOTE: If you select the Bill Me option during checkout, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. That email serves as your invoice and can be paid either by check (payable to CoSIDA and mailed to CoSIDA, P.O. Box 7818, Greenwood, Ind. 46142-6427) or online from your member profile page on CoSIDA.com. Your membership is not activated until payment is received and you will not receive another reminder from CoSIDA about dues payment.
Any member who requires an invoice prior to payment should go through the payment process, select the
Bill Me option and print their
Order Confirmation email (or access it through your CoSIDA profile). The Order Confirmation is the same as an invoice.
At its June meeting, the CoSIDA Board of Directors set individual memberships at $155 for 2019-20. Group memberships will be based on the same rate of $155 with price breaks for certain numbers over three, six and 10 members.
Group and individual memberships will be available once again for full and part-time athletics communications professionals in intercollegiate athletics. Any member is eligible to purchase an individual membership. School or conference custodians can purchase a group membership for as few as one member or as many staff members as necessary.
Group memberships remain with the school should the member depart, and individual memberships travel with a member should they leave the school or conference. All group and individual members are able to nominate and vote in the CoSIDA Academic All-America
® program.

In addition to the CoSIDA membership, NAIA members will again be able to purchase a separate $50 NAIA associate membership through the payment portal. These funds will be returned to the NAIA national office and used in the planning of Divisional Day during the 2020 CoSIDA Convention and for NAIA-SIDA’s annual awards program.
Undergraduate student memberships are available for $50 for current degree-seeking students. These memberships do not allow for nomination or voting for the Academic All-America program and are not counted as part of a school’s group membership.
Associate membership is available to anyone not affiliated with a school, conference or national governing body in college athletics. That cost is $210 for 2019-20.

CoSIDA set a single-season membership record in 2018-19 with 3,153 members – up from the previous record of 3,071 in 2014-15.
A few important items to remember:
- Regular rates are in effect August 5 through October 15, 2019. A $30 late fee per membership will be added to the dues beginning October 16.
- Custodians have the ability to update organization information and roster information throughout the year through access on their CoSIDA profiles.
- All members are encouraged to update their CoSIDA profiles by logging in at the top right corner of the home page of CoSIDA.com. You can add your photograph to the Overview page and change any personal or contact information within those specific tabs.
- Members are not able to change affiliation, so if you need to do that, please contact Laurie Bollig at lauriebollig@cosida.com.
Renewal time is a great time to make sure you have filled out the demographic information within each profile. CoSIDA does not share the information with anyone; however, the association is able to use data for marketing of educational opportunities to specific groups of members – i.e., CoSIDA members with less than five years of membership, ethnic minorities, females, members within a certain age group.

Note to Job Posters to the CoSIDA Job Board
CoSIDA members must renew their dues for 2019-20 by Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 to take advantage of member pricing for the jobs listing service. If you request to post a job after August 15 and are not a 2019-20 member, you will be charged non-member rates for your job postings. There will be no change to the job posting rates for 2019-20. |
