It’s been said CoSIDA is like a family. It was tough this past June to cancel the “family reunion” in Las Vegas. It’s been tough to watch our colleagues go through professional and personal hardships as a result of this global pandemic. One thing has been true of the CoSIDA family in 2020 — we've come together to help each other.
This is nothing new. It happens every year.
Our members regularly lift each other up and support one another. Almost every year, CoSIDA has a member who volunteers to pay membership dues for someone who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it. This year we’ve had multiple members step up for their peers. No one does it for the recognition. They do it for each other.
To assist with this generosity, CoSIDA has made available to its members the ability to donate towards memberships for 2020-21 for those who are unable to purchase. For our CoSIDA members, your donation can be to pay the dues for a specific person or put into a general fund to be used toward the selection of deserving members. More information will follow about how to apply for a sponsored membership. For now, members who wish to donate, can do so at this link.
