Beginning February 6, CoSIDA members will receive an email from Executive Director Doug Vance with a unique link to the 2020 salary and compensation survey. The email's subject line will read CoSIDA Salary Survey.
The survey, administered in partnership with
Athlete Viewpoint, will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will cover important data regarding member salary, compensation, benefits, staff size, sport sponsorship and roles within the athletics communications department specifically and in the athletics department in general.
Reminder emails will follow
only for members who have not completed the survey through the initial invitation.
Results, which are expected to be available in the spring, will be delivered to members in a dashboard format and will be sortable by many different filters so members are able to replicate as closely as possible their own situations. The effectiveness of this project will depend largely on the participation of our members. The more members who complete the survey, the better the data will be for both you and your peers and can help you determine the best way to utilize this information to enhance your current position/department.
While the survey will remain open until Friday, February 21st at Midnight (ET),
we encourage you to take it at your earliest convenience. Any member who included their email address at the conclusion of the survey will be entered to win an Amazon gift card. The survey is anonymous, and your email address will not be tied to survey results.
Because of the nature of the information to be gathered on the survey, CoSIDA members who are fully retired (lifetime members) and those who are undergraduate student members will not be asked to complete the survey.
