The theme for Black History Month 2021 is The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity and is set every year by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History®, an organization founded in 1915 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the famed African American historian known as the “Father of Black History.”
National Girls & Women In Sports Day
February 3, 2021, marks the 35th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) coordinated by the Womens Sports Foundation. Every year, this celebration inspires girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power as we recognize the importance of equal opportunity for all girls and women in sports.
