Brad Cygan – NAIA, Director of Athletics Communications

Brad Cygan has worked at the NAIA national association, located in Kansas City, Missouri, since July 2018 as Director of Athletics Communication. Cygan also has been principle media relations contact for Missouri Baptist University Athletics and was SID at Lindenwood University. He entered the SID profession after work in corporate public relations and staffing companies.
In September of 2015, he was named NAIA National Sports Information Director of the Year after earning the American Midwest Conference SID of the Year honors.
In this video interview, he talks about athletic communications values and being service oriented, how the NAIA has taken the national lead in Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) issues and protocols for student-athletes, and the NAIA’s relationship with PrestoSports.
