Presenter Elisa Mitton (University of Windsor) guided a conversation and Q&A on strategies to best coordinates game day communications, social media and photographers, event staff and logistics, webcasting and volunteers.
Mitton focused on using productivity, planning and communications tools like online schedules, Slack and in-person communications and site visits to ensure that you cover all your event to-do lists. Additionally, she and the audience spoke about the importance of crisis planning and the ability to pivot with unforeseen circumstances that might arise.
