We're looking for more mentors!

Sign-up forms are available for CoSIDA members to participate in the 2021-22 mentorship program. To sign up to be a mentor, a mentee or both, visit CoSIDA Upcoming Events.

In September, the Mentorship Committee will work to make the pairings and communicate those to members. Pairings will be communicated and a kickoff event will be held in late September or early October.

Preferences are requested on the sign-up form for division, geographic location, gender, experience level and communication methods. Every attempt will be made by the committee to create the best pairing for participants, but CoSIDA cannot guarantee that all preferences will be met.

Although the program does not have strict requirements for the participants, it is expected that mentors and mentees establish consistent communication throughout the academic year. Members of the Mentorship Committee will check in with pairings on a regular basis to ensure the goals of each person are being met.

The mentorship program is a benefit of CoSIDA membership. More than 600 CoSIDA members have participated in the program in the first six years of its existence.

Membership purchases and renewals will be available to CoSIDA professionals in early August. You are able to sign up as a mentor or mentee without current membership, but it will be required once the program begins.
