The CoSIDA membership enrollment period continues through September 30, with a late fee in place beginning October 1. Also new this year are benefits specifically for communicators in the creative space including social media, digital and design professionals.
CoSIDA memberships for 2021-22 are now available with the regular membership enrollment period through Thursday, September 30.

A late fee of $75 per membership will be added beginning Friday, October 1, 2021.
Regular rates for 2020-21 are $175 for the first member and $100 for each additional member. Some exceptions apply as noted below.
New this year is the requirement for membership to access CoSIDA’s educational and professional development opportunities. Webinars and panels will be available to 2021-22 members only, while non-members will have to pay for access to these professional opportunities throughout the year.
Those who attended a #CoSIDA21 Virtual Convention session will be familiar with the new hub where professional development webinars will be available.
Also new this year are benefits specifically for communicators in the creative space including social media, digital and design professionals. Continuing education, professional development programming and mentorship opportunities will be designed with these members in mind and will be available for 2021-22.
Two recent Executive Board of Directors actions make it easier for professionals from Canadian schools and two-year colleges to purchase memberships. Canadian members are eligible to purchase full memberships based on an agreed-upon exchange rate — $140 USD for the first individual, university or conference membership and $80 USD each for additional members. Members from two-year schools are eligible to purchase individual, university or conference memberships at a reduced rate of $125 for the first membership and $50 each for additional members.

Similar to 2020-21, the associate membership is $100 and covers any member not currently at an NCAA, NAIA, Canadian or two-year college school or conference. This membership includes employees at national governing bodies, high schools and bowl games in addition to freelance communications professionals between jobs.

Again this year, NAIA professionals can pay an additional $50 per member for an optional NAIA membership, which will cover the cost of administrative items for NAIA Divisional Day at the
#CoSIDA22 Convention which is scheduled for June 26-29 in Las Vegas.
CoSIDA continues to accept donations for its
membership scholarship fund and hopes to have available funds for SIDs who are unable to pay for membership in the coming academic year.
