Welcome to the 2021 CoSIDA Fall Fitness Team Challenge!
 
The CoSIDA Fitness Challenge is a fun way to interact with friends and colleague and motivate, support and encourage each other while being physically and mentally fit!
 
This challenge is based on minutes per week of physical activity. Physical activity is defined as something outside of work that you do for the goal of exercise. Examples include: walking, running, bicycle riding, swimming, lifting weights, yoga and home workouts.
 
Once you join the challenge you will be placed on a team. You will accumulate points each week that will be combined for your team and there will be a team winner each week and an overall team winner at the end of the challenge.
 
CoSIDA Fitness Challenge Details
Starts: September 20
Ends: November 14
 
The following is the point system for the fitness challenge.
 
Individual points
20 minutes of exercise in a day = 1 point
You can get up to 4 points per week doing the 20 minutes.
Posting a picture from a workout on CoSIDA Fitness Challenge Facebook Group = 1 point (can do it as many times as you want, but only get the 1 bonus point once)
 
Team bonuses
If more than half your team gets 4 days of 20+ minutes in a week = 1 bonus point
If your whole team gets 4 days of 20+ minutes = 1 bonus point
Team winner each week gets +1 bonus point.

NEW FOR FALL 21
The 8-week program will conclude with a CoSIDA Fitness Challenge Championship Meet. Various events will be contested, and teams will decide who to enter in which events for a fun conclusion to the fitness challenge.
