LIVE WEBINAR: Teachable Tuesday Webinar Series (Presented by Capital One)
Making the Transition: Fall 2021
Taking on new roles, building a department culture in athletic communications.

Date: Tuesday, September 21, 2021
Time:
 2 PM (ET) / 1 PM (CT) / Noon (MT) / 11 AM (PT)

There is much movement and change in college athletic departments, particularly with job transitions and realigning departments in the wake of the pandemic. Nearly every athletic communications staff has been affected with transitions, new hires, realigning duties, etc.

Join these presenters as they discuss moving into new jobs, making the jump from one division to another, taking on leadership responsibilities, and how they are building and contributing to their department culture. How do you handle a move to a new job, a new organization? Hear from them about the process of researching and moving into a new position, both physically and emotionally, about "letting go" of your former job, and preparing for new opportunities in the COVID environment, and much more.

There will be a live Q&A for attendees to ask their questions.

Presenters:
Nathaniel Gale – Missouri Valley Conference, Assistant Director for Communications & Digital Strategy
Nicolle Holcomb – Eastern New Mexico, Sports Information Director
John Painter – Maryville College, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications
Nicole Sasu-Twum – University of Delaware, Assistant Director, Communications and Creative Services

Moderator:
Miles McQuiggan – Colonial Athletic Association, Assistant Commissioner for Communications
