| #CoSIDA22 Convention |
Registration and hotel reservations open Feb. 9; great rates available
#CoSIDA22 Convention registration and hotel reservations at the Mandalay Bay or Delano will open on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at Noon (ET).
Convention registration rates are unchanged from what was planned in 2020 for Las Vegas, including only $350 for early-bird registrations.
Rates at the Mandalay Bay are among CoSIDA's lowest in several years. Most nights are only $165 per room (higher on Saturday), and a four night stay from Saturday-Wednesday will average only $176 per night, plus tax.

2022 CoSIDA Convention Grant application deadlines
NCAA Inclusion Grant deadline: Jan. 21 (Midnight ET)
CoSIDA Attendance Grant deadeline: Feb. 4 (Midnight ET)
Applications are currently being accepted (opened Dec. 6) for both the 2022 CoSIDA Convention Attendance Grant and the NCAA Inclusion Grant for CoSIDA members interested in financial assistance to attend the #CoSIDA22 Convention in Las Vegas June 26-29.
The CoSIDA grant includes reimbursement of up to $1,000 in expenses related to travel, lodging and meals in addition to a complimentary convention registration. The NCAA grant will provide attendance at the CoSIDA Convention, mentorship and leadership opportunies throughout the year, plus an NCAA national office visit. Click here for more details.

CoSIDA members eclipse 50k hours in community volunteerism
Shortly before the calendar turned to 2022, the CoSIDA Volunteer 15 program, initiated by the Goodwill & Wellness Committee in 2014-15 and designed to help promote the great efforts and success our members have in their communities, rolled over into unprecedented territory — 50,000 cumulative hours of recorded community service.
Huge congratulations to all CoSIDA members who helped the association reach this major mileston in volunteer service. Click here for more ways to engage with Goodwill & Wellness initiatives in 2022.

Academic All-America® basketball nominations
Make sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, Jan. 25 when nominations open for men's and women's basketball Academic All-America in all NCAA and NAIA divisions. Current members can nominate at CoSIDA.com/Awards.
NEW! The Academic All-America Core Committee recently approved a new release schedule for All-America teams which will begin with the basketball announcements. All divisions for a sport will now be announced at the same time. All men's basketball teams in all NCAA and NAIA divisions will be released at Noon (ET) on Tuesday, March 15, followed by all women's basketball teams on Wednesday, March 16. A similar model will be followed for remaining spring sports.
