Oooh- The average professional spends 28% of the work day reading and answering email, according to a McKinsey analysis. For the average full-time worker in America, that amounts to a staggering 2.6 hours spent on email, and 120 messages received, per day.
A team at Zarvana — a company that teaches research-backed time management practices - looked at how to diminsh the 2.6 hours per day spent on email without losing effectiveness. They found how to decrease that time by nearly half and discus the five ways we unnecessarily lose this time and how to get it back.
