In A Landslide Vote, CoSIDA Members Approve New Governance Structure
The CoSIDA Executive Board has two open positions for 2023 and beyond: Third Vice-President and an At-Large position. Both are open to all current dues-paying CoSIDA members, regardless of division. Applications and supporting materials must be received no later than Friday, May 6, 2022 at 5 PM (ET).

Are you interested in becoming involved with your national CoSIDA organization at the highest leadership positions?
The CoSIDA Nominating Committee is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals who are interested in serving in a leadership role on the Executive Board of Directors for the 2022-23 academic year and beyond.
There are just two positions open for Board service for 2022-23, due to the restructuring of the CoSIDA governance structure and our addition of the CoSIDA Cabinet for 2020-21 and beyond. The two open positions: to serve as CoSIDA’s Third Vice President in the officers rotation and to serve as an At-Large Representative on the Board.
The Third VP position and the At-Large position are open to any current CoSIDA member from any area of the United States or Canada.
Deadline to apply is Friday, May 6, 2022.
Serving on CoSIDA's board of directors is a prominent leadership opportunity within the athletic communications profession. There is tremendous momentum in - and for - our organization, with our new All-In Membership and the ongoing brand identity project. We are looking for members from all divisions who have passion for our profession to serve CoSIDA and give back to the profession in a significant way.
The slate of Third VP and At-Large Representative candidates will be presented to the Nominating Committee, comprised of past presidents and those whose board positions end in June 2022. They will vote on the new board in early June.
Open Board Position for 2022-23 and Beyond
Any current CoSIDA members from the USA and Canada may apply, as these two positions are not tied to a geographical area.
3rd Vice President - (no geographic designation)
Serves a five-year term on the board (years of being 3rd VP, 2nd VP, 1st VP, President, then Past President) with specific assignments each year. Your commitment includes two conference calls per month, additional days of meetings at the annual CoSIDA Convention, and, when resuming normal activities, a potential summer meeting at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, a mid-year meeting at the annual NCAA Convention, and involvement as committee liaison as well as projects and special duties to be determined.
At-Large Representative - (1 available; no geographical designation)
At-Large Executive Board members shall come from the membership as a whole, and must be fully qualified members of the Association. At-large members will be elected to serve a three-year term.
