#CoSIDA22 Convention: Your Pathway to Professional Development in Vegas
Details of educational programming plus can't miss events.

At the June convention, the educational sessions will cover an array of communications topics through a variety of activities: large-scale sessions, breakout sessions from some of the general sessions, small-group learning labs called Educational Lounges, and targeted learning opportunities on Divisional Days.
Here is a preview of some of the panel discussions you'll see at #CoSIDA22 and who will be welcome to the stage. Check this link regularly for the most up-to-date schedule.

Monday afternoon (1 pm), our
featured speaker is Jennifer Davis, LEARFIELD Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMO) who also is an author and former Amazon Head of Product Marketing. Davis will speak on leadership lessons learned through the pandemic and how athletic communications pro can best elevate themselves and make crucial decisions in their career paths to be seen as leaders.
Later Monday programming features a
NCAA LiveStats session with Genius Sports and NCAA media coordination and statistics representatives, and a
Women In Leadership panel with national leaders Kim Damron, President and Chief Executive Officer, Paciolan and Patti Phillips, CEO of Women Leaders in College Sports (and our 2022 Keith Jackson Eternal Flame Award recipient). They will be joined by others TBA. We will end the programming Monday with a speed networking event.
Tuesday will be mainly devoted to Divisional Day programming after CoSIDA, NACMA and ICLA present a 9 am mega-session on
Social and Digital Media Branding and Engagement, featuring Kim Frank, President, Vegas Golden Knights and Folded Flag Foundation; Chris Gumiela, MGM Resorts Vice President of Marketing, and Lauren Taylor, Emory University Deputy AD/External Operations.
The Wednesday, June 29
th schedule include sessions on writing and editing, crisis communications, media relations and celebrating the Title IX 50
th anniversary.

Educational Lounges which will take place on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, June 26, 27 and 29. More panelists and presenters will be announced throughout the next few weeks.

Community Service Project sponsored by the CoSIDA Goodwill and Wellness Committee
Sunday, June 26, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Do good for Las Vegas by dropping by the Goodwill and Wellness community service project to help with assembling hygiene kits. In cooperation with Three Square Food Bank, the kits will benefit the homeless population in southern Nevada.

South Pacific E - Exhibit Hall
Join your friends for a game of bags or pop-a-shot. Tour the booths and meet vendors in the exhibit hall. Enjoy a round and some snacks on CoSIDA. The welcome reception will be the first social hosted by CoSIDA and it’s a great place to meet up with old friends, put faces with names, meet a new colleague or just chill out before the week’s sessions.

State of the Association

Big things are happening in the world of college athletics communication. With a new association name and brand on the horizon and the hiring of the next executive director, CoSIDA’s Executive Board of Directors invites you to a Q&A about the rebranding process and to officially meet the new leader of the association. Third Vice President Kevin Trainor will moderate the discussions. Plus we’ll honor leadership and fellowship classes and pay tribute to past members.
CoSIDA Celebrations: An All-Star Night of Honors presented by ESPN
