College Sports Communicators members are a huge part of the success of March Madness and all postseason basketball tournaments every year.
Who should take this survey: Any CSC member from any level who worked a 2023 NCAA March Madness, NAIA or NJCAA postseason championship basketball tournament are invited to complete the survey. It
does not include conference tournaments.
The purpose of this survey is to collect data about the impact and contribution of CSC members on postseason basketball tournaments in 2023 — with an emphasis on those who were on-site assisting with running these tournaments. This includes volunteers, those who were part of a host organization (paid or unpaid) and those covering their own teams. It includes both men's and women's tournaments at all levels of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA.
It does not include any other year besides 2023 and does not include conference tournaments.
Everyone should complete section 2 of the survey and then optionally complete sections 3 and 4 depending on your involvement.
Section 2 asks for basic information about yourself.
Section 3 relates to any member who volunteered (or was paid) to work a postseason basketball tournament on behalf of the host site. This could include being part of the media coordination team, statistics crew, moderators, runners, content team, any other part of the events or venue team, etc. Members who work for a conference office or national body and were on site should complete this section.
Section 4 relates to any work done on behalf of your institution competing in a postseason tournament. This section is targeted for members who work at schools with competing teams, and can include working remotely.
This survey is NOT intended to include any details related to conference tournaments.
Only complete this survey if you are a current CSC member. Information provided in this survey will be received by the CSC National Staff and shared with the Executive Board of Directors. Results of this survey will be summarized in an aggregate form without any identifying information. All questions are optional. Questions about this survey can be directed to beau@cscommunicators.com.
