CHICAGO, Ill. – College Sports Communicators and Athlyte, Inc., have entered a collaborative partnership to promote the “Next Generation Sports Communications Initiative,” an effort to enhance the ability of sports communications professionals to be strategic leaders in messaging, content creation and narrative development.

This initiative activates CSC’s leadership and membership in support of Athlyte’s Next Generation Sports Communication Technology Platform. The platform will enable communications professionals to effectively and efficiently manage workflow and execution of messaging initiatives involving every forward-facing aspect of college athletics including marketing, content creatives, and media relations.

“CSC and Athlyte are embarking on a new innovative partnership designed to assist athletics communicators in their daily roles and enhance their growth as leaders and solution providers for college sports,” said Erik Christianson, CSC executive director. “We are thrilled to announce this new relationship and enthusiastic about how it will support our members and the student-athletes they serve.”

CSC and Athlyte kicked off their three-year commitment with Athlyte signing on with CSC as a sponsor of the organization and at the upcoming #CSCUnite24 annual national conference, set for June 9-12  at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.

“All of us at Athlyte are not only excited about the potential of this partnership with CSC, but also very proud of our association with the Next Generation Sports Communications Initiative," said Kiron Shastry, president of Athlyte. “CSC’s vision for the collegiate communications profession aligns perfectly with our mission of providing cutting-edge technology solutions to the collegiate athletics communications community. We are honored to be a part of this team.”

Christianson and Shastry noted that CSC is forming a national steering committee of CSC members to regularly advise Athlyte on the initiative. The committee will be chaired by Doug Walker of Florida State, who has served as an advisor to Athlyte.
