CSC Summer Leadership Meeting

For the first time in CSC history, the Executive Board of Directors, national staff and the full Advisory Council gathered together in Chicago this past week for our CSC Summer Leadership Meeting. During an impactful few days for our organization, we discussed important topics, heard from industry professionals, and grew as leaders.

See what some of our Advisory Council members had to say about the week:

Brian Magoffin, Division III Cabinet Vice Chair

Candice Kelm, Two-Year Cabinet Chair

*Note: All 2023-24 memberships expired on July 31.

Recommended methods for CSC membership purchases:

  • If you plan to purchase an All-In group membership, be sure you are the custodian of the institution or conference office account beforehand. If not, contact will@cscommunicators.com and request to be made the account custodian.
  • If you do not see the blue 'Renew' button on your profile, you do not have custodian access to purchase a membership or edit staff on behalf of your organization.
  • Only custodians have the ability to purchase a membership and edit staff on behalf of an organization. If you do not know your account custodian, contact will@cscommunicators.com.
  • If you are a custodian trying to add a new staff member and the system indicates that person has a duplicate account, contact will@cscommunicators.com to have their affiliation transferred from a previous employer. Do not create a second profile for them.
  • If you are an individual with a recent membership and who has moved to a new employer, contact will@cscommunicators.com to have your affiliation transferred. Do not create a second profile.
  • If you have multiple profiles in the system, contact will@cscommunicators.com to have them merged into one historical record.
  • If you are a custodian, you are encouraged to update your staff in the system prior to the start of the academic year and as needed throughout the year to ensure all members receive regular communications from CSC regarding member benefits, upcoming events, Academic All-America deadlines and other important information.
  • Optional memberships may also be purchased for 2ySIDA ($25), NAIA-SIDA ($50) and EAST-COMM ($75) when purchasing CSC memberships.

Katie Gonzales appointed to CSC Executive Board of Directors for 2024-25

Katie Gonzales, assistant AD - athletic communications at Division III Illinois Wesleyan University who also serves as the second vice president of the CSC Division III Cabinet, was selected by the executive board vote to fill a one-year vacancy.

The opening was created when Donnie Smith stepped down from the executive board following a job change. After leaving the NAIA's Southeastern University earlier this month to go to Division I Jacksonville State University as assistant AD for media relations, he was no longer eligible to serve in the College Division Representative role.
