College Sports Communicators finalized its Executive Board of Directors for 2025-26 by filling one open position during a special meeting of the Executive Board August 28.
Brent Ingram, associate AD for communications at Baylor University, was selected by executive board vote to fill a one-year vacancy as CSC third vice president.
“It is a unique honor to join the College Sports Communicators Executive Board and represent such a wonderful organization and broad membership base,” Ingram said. “CSC has played such a major role in my professional development and I am eager to find a way to serve others in this role. CSC boasts an elite community of professionals who are passionate and committed to supporting student-athletes, coaches, and campus stakeholders, and I am privileged to work alongside these great folks on a daily basis. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country as we work to advance our profession during this period of change in the collegiate sports landscape. I’m looking forward to collaborating with this great organization and its members, and am blessed to have been chosen to serve in this role.”
The 2025-26 slate of CSC’s Executive Board of Directors was approved by membership vote during the virtual annual business meeting on May 28. Following the departure of Mary Beth Challoner in August the remaining board members moved to appoint the vacant third vice president position in accordance with the CSC constitution.
Ingram’s one-year appointment is for the 2025-26 academic year and he will retain eligibility to run for a full Executive Board term in the future. During the 2026-27 Executive Board selection process, nominations will be open for second vice president, third vice president and at-large representative.
“As this appointment sets our CSC executive board for the 2025-26 year, it will be tremendous to see this full group drive the organization forward with innovative thinking and passionate leadership,” said 2025-26 CSC Board President Patrick Crawford of Purdue. “The addition of Brent Ingram to this year’s board makes the whole group stronger, and I look forward to gaining his valuable perspective on the many opportunities we’ll be presented throughout this year.”
