Overview
College sports communicators are often expected to move quickly, respond constantly, and manage high-pressure moments with calm and clarity. From urgent issues and major announcements to evening events, championships, and competing priorities, the work can be rewarding, but also demanding, stressful, and difficult to switch off from. This webinar will explore practical ways to protect your time, energy, and well-being while continuing to do meaningful, high-impact work. Participants will hear strategies for setting boundaries, managing expectations, reducing burnout, and building healthier routines in a profession where the pace rarely slows down.
Join us to hear from
- Jamie Howieson (Moderator) – University of British Columbia Okanagan, Heat Communications & Marketing Strategist
- Chris Cameron – Acadia University, Sports Information & Communications Coordinator
- Jill Clark – University of Toronto, Varsity Blues Senior Marketing Communications Officer
