LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest announced its contest winners and full list of results for the 2025-26 edition of the contest Wednesday afternoon following the Special Events Luncheon on the final day of
CSC Unite 2026 at the Mandalay Bay Resort.
“On behalf of myself, Vice Chair
Malloreigh Yingling, Executive Board Liaison
Brent Ingram and CSC Director of Communications and Brand Strategy
Beau White as well as contest administers
Andy DeVito,
Amanda Phillps,
Donnie Smith and
Jacob Walton, I want to congratulate all the individuals recognized in the results of the 2025-26 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest,” said contest chair
Patrick Murphy of the Colorado School of Mines. “Once again, this contest continues to be the premier opportunity in our industry to recognize the creativity, innovation and talent of the CSC membership, and showcase the best our profession has to offer in the content creation space as decided by their peers.”
For the third consecutive year, the contest set a record for participation with an 18.7% increase from the previous year with a total of 2,565 entries. 980 entries came from the University Division while 1,585 entries came from College Division institutions. 14 of the 17 contest categories saw an increase in participation year over year, while the Portfolio Contests combined for 173 entries. Over the last three years, the contest has experienced an overall increase of nearly 170% from 957 entries in 2023-24.
Finalists for the Designer, Photographer and Videographer of the Year Contests were honored Wednesday at the Special Awards Luncheon with four of the six contest winners in attendance. Winners from the College Division included Videographer of the Year
Ellis Dunn of Colorado Mesa, Designer of the Year
Sophia Nduwayo from Keiser and Photographer of the Year
Jared McFarlane of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Georgia’s
Margaret Mosher was honored as University Division Designer of the Year. Vanderbilt's
John Campbell was the University Division Videographer of the Year.
Morgan Givens of Oklahoma was the Photographer of the Year in the University Division.
Nearly 270 institutions and conference offices were among the participants this year, with more than 650 total individuals having been named on an entry. A total of 456 places were recognized in the overall contest results while 490 entries garnered “Best Of” honors for each level in the College Division as well as for Graduate Assistants, Interns and Student Workers. 980 entries made up the 17 contests in the University Division composed exclusively of Division I institutions. The College Division was headlined by Division II with 711 total entries followed by Division III with 541, the NAIA with 246, Canadian Institutions with 27 and two-year colleges with 22.
The number of places awarded for each contest was determined by the number of entries in each category. For the College Division, “Best Of” honors were bestowed upon the top finishers from each subdivision also based on the number of entries received.
“I would like to thank each and every one of our nearly 90 contest reviewers who served either a coordinator or a judge,” Murphy added. “Without them, conducting this contest would not be possible, and I am truly grateful for their time, dedication and effort. I am especially thankful for our incredible partners and support team at RhythmQ for their continued support for the contest this year and for all their time, patience and assistance in answering our questions with year two of the current submission and review system.”
Full contest results can be found below. Certificates for all honorees will be made available later this summer.
