Late enrollment period: Beginning Oct. 21, 2016 (subject to a $30/membership late fee)
Membership Types
CoSIDA offers
Group Active Memberships,
Individual Active Memberships,
Associate Memberships and
Undergraduate Student Memberships. Information about what is included in each type of membership and pricing is shown in the chart below.
Group Active Memberships, which are new in 2016-17, offer institutions/organizations the option to purchase active memberships in groups of three, six and 10 members, and the ability to add additional members at a reduced price. These memberships can be made up of any combination of full- and part-time staff, graduate assistants, interns and undergraduate students. Everyone in the group is entitled to nominate and vote in the Academic All-America® program.
A Dues-Paying Account Custodian is Required for Group Memberships
Beginning July 20, 2016, every school must have a custodian and all custodians
MUST be dues-paying members. The custodian of each organization can update and edit organizational and staff information, pay online dues for staff members and add or delete members during the year. Even if you want your administrative assistant to do any of the tasks outlined above, he/she must either log in as you OR become a dues-paying member themselves.
Academic All-District® and All-America® Nomination and Voting Rights

Individual Active Members and those part of a
Group Active Membership are extended nominating and voting rights.

Associate Memberships and
Undergraduate Student Memberships do NOT have nominating and voting privileges. Note that undergraduate students who are included in a Group Active Membership or have an Individual Active Membership are permitted to nominate and vote.
• All CoSIDA Lifetime Achievement Award winners receive free annual membership and are extended voting rights.
Review Benefits and Options Before Enrolling
Group memberships are a benefit to your school, conference or organization if you have three or more members. With these new membership options, there are several changes to certain member benefits. The chart below shows pricing for each type of membership and size of group membership. Additionally, note the difference in ownership of the membership between Group Membership or Individual Membership. Pay careful attention to these benefits when enrolling.

Each Group Active Membership option includes full- and part-time staff, graduate assistants, interns and undergraduate students—all at the same rate per person. All memberships are retained by the school or conference if a person included in the group membership listing leaves the school or conference for any reason.

Individual Active Membership
Includes full- or part-time employees, graduate assistants, interns or undergraduate students employed by a school or conference. In the event the member leaves the institution, membership is retained by the individual regardless of who pays for it.

*Exceptions to the Late Fee
1. Any person joining CoSIDA for the first time as an Individual Member is not required to pay the late fee.
2. Any professional who has changed jobs after October 20, 2016, and is purchasing an Individual Membership is not required to pay the late fee.
Note: There are NO exceptions for Group Memberships.
