Featured Speakers:
Mark and Nanette Potter

d2up.org
@markpotterD2UP

Join Coach Mark Potter, the now-retired and long-time basketball coach at Newman University (Wichita, KS), and his wife Nanette as they talk about Mark’s honest, raw story of battling depression (the silent epidemic) and how taking care of your mental health and wellness is paramount. Having spent his career working alongside SIDs, Coach Potter understands the demands and pressures of our profession, and will shares practical ideas to help everyone train their brain, be able to practice mental health and wellness strategies, and increase your mental toughness so you can reach your ultimate potential. In their motivational speaking, the Potters are on a crusade to educate and encourage others suffering from mental illness to seek assistance.  Coach Potter’s message is that “mental toughness” is a missing link in our society, and if we don’t take time to invest in our thoughts, we will not see change in the continued increase of depression, anxiety and suicide in our communities.
