We are grateful for everyone who helped #CelebrateCSC during our ninth annual CSC Membership Appreciation Week on Nov. 12-17! It was another fantastic week of recognizing and celebrating communications and creative pros in college athletics. We saw over 3.8k posts on social media and had over 622.2k impressions on the College Sports Communicators pages alone.
During the week, we launched the new CSC Voices, Beyond the Scoreboard podcast series. This new series will bring insights and stories from College Sports Communicators members and leading colleagues in college athletics.
We also chose TWO winners for the free #CSCUnite25 registration contest: Congratulations to Airis Thomas of Winston-Salem State University and Paige Ward of Berry College!
As we do each year, we were excited to see support from athletics directors, conference commissioners, coaches in all sports, SAAC groups, colleagues from other areas such as sports medicine and facilities & events, media members, our corporate partner friends and many others, as they celebrated with us. It's exciting each year to see the love, appreciation and geniune thank yous. Remember, even though the week is over, showing appreciation is something that should happen year round!
The CSC staff thanks the members of the Membership Recognition Committee chaired by Tommy Chasanoff (Cumberlands/Committee Vice-Chair). A special shout out goes to the members of the Young Professionals Committee, who helped produce a new "Day in the Life" video series that launched during the week: Jordan Modjeski (Gustavus Adolphus) and Pearllan Cipriano (Bard College).

About College Sports Communicators Membership Appreciation Week
The ninth annual CSC Membership Appreciation Week will be celebrated Nov. 12-17. Celebrate with us on social media using the hashtag #CelebrateCSC, and consider ways to show appreciation for your athletics communicators and creatives during this week.
CSC Membership Appreciation Week is an opportunity for those who interact with college sports communications and creative professionals to observe and celebrate the impact that athletics communicators have on intercollegiate athletics. The week was created to show appreciation for athletic communicators and creatives within the CSC membership and to showcase their efforts and accomplishments. The celebration brings positive recognition to CSC members and their work promoting student-athletes and their institutions/conferences throughout all levels of intercollegiate athletics.
Athletic departments, campus communications offices, media, current and former student-athletes, coaches organizations and other groups are encouraged to recognize their athletics communications staff members during this special week. Recommendations and ideas on how to do so are included in the media kit linked below.
This year's celebration will feature the following:
- Content focusing on the value of of CSC members and the communications and creative professions.
- Outreach to athletic departments, campus communications offices, conferences offices, related professional organizations and student-athletes
- National media integrations
- Videos and sample scripts available for use on game broadcasts and live streams
- A social media campaign again centered on the hashtag #CelebrateCSC.
A note to CSC members: This is a week for the college athletics community to celebrate you and the important work you do. It's also a week to shine a positive light on our profession and the value College Sports Communicators brings to college sports overall. You're encouraged to celebrate the week by sharing what you love about what you do and shining that light on your mentors, colleagues, students and others.

Calling all athletics directors, commissioners, coaches, and all colleagues of CSC members...tell us why your CSC member is valuable to your institution or conference office for a chance for them to win a FREE #CSCUnite25 convention registration! The winner will be announced on Nov. 18. We'll also select CSC members throughout the week to receive CSC gift packages.

- The nomination should come from a non-CSC member colleague (AD, coach, SAAC, etc.)
- Must be posted to X (Twitter) or Instagram between Nov. 12-17.
