Tom Di Camillo was inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame during the 2012 convention in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Renaissance Grand Hotel.
Di Camillo was also the recipient of CoSIDA's Warren Berg Award in 2008 and 25-Year Award in 2015.
He served as CoSIDA president in 2011-12 and on the board of directors from 2002-03 to 2005-06 as a college division representative.
Di Camillo was the third non-Division I CoSIDA president and the first in 30 years. The CoSIDA Board recognized his leadership skills and appointment him to a one-year term on the board as a College Division Representative in 2002-03. He then was chosen for a full three-year term from 2004-06 and then eventually for the four-year officer's rotation that began in June of 2009.
A two-time graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Di Camillo earned his undergraduate degree in liberal studies in 1989 and his M.S.A in sports administration in 2004. He began his SID career in 1990 at his alma mater where he served for 24 years. He was a one-person shop coordinating publicity for the second-largest NCAA Division II program in the nation and was a founding organizer of the West Chester University Athletic Hall of Fame.
He went on to serve roles as an assistant commissioner for the Pacific West Conference and the executive director of public relations for the Central Arizona College Foundation beginning in 2006. In 2014, he became the third commissioner of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), an association of ten NCAA Division III institutions.
