• Always humble, roundly respected, Central College's Larry Happel enters CoSIDA Hall of Fame

Larry Happel was inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame during the 2010 convention in San Francisco, California, at the Marriott Marquis.

Happel was the recipient of CoSIDA's 25-Year Award in 2004 and Warren Berg Award in 2006. He served as a member of the CoSIDA board of directors from 2001-02 to 2004-05. Happel won National Story of the Year honors in the 2017 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest.
