Paul Allan was inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame during the 2009 convention in San Antonio, Texas, at the Marriott Rivercenter. Allan was the recipient of CoSIDA's Warren Berg Award in 2007.

A member of the Minnesota State Athletics staff since the fall of 1985, he was named Assistant AD/Communications in 2003 and Associate Director of Athletics in 2009. He also was presented with the NCC Legacy Award in 2008.

A West Texas State grad, Allan first started working on his masters at Northern Arizona before transferring to MSU. He is a native of Calgary, Alta.
